Nominations are accepted from Provincial Sport Organizations (PSO) only. Individuals, Recreation Directors, and sports media are encouraged to contact their PSO directly with suggested nominations. The PSO must endorse the nomination.
The Night of Champions will also feature special veteran inductions into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame. The Veteran Inductees for 2012 will be announced soon.

| ...e to contribute in their future career or volunteer activities. Deliverable in a two or three hour format, the workshop covers the range of leadership skills and attributes which will assist young leaders to take on roles as planners and decision makers during their school years and beyond.
Women to Watch Grant
A major initiative is the Women to Watch Grant Program. Working in partnership with Provincial Sport Organizations and Coaching Manitoba, Sport Manitoba provides a monthly grant of $500 to a female athlete, team, official or volunteer to assist them in enhancing their women in sport career.
A $500 monthly grant is also awarded to a female coach to assist them in further developing the skills necessary to attain a higher level of coaching or increased level of coaching experience.
