Bingo Events Application Form
Special Initiative Funding
Funding of up to $500 is available to a community sport partner working with a Provincial Sport Organization for a project, activity or event that would assist in the development of community based sport and is not eligible under any other grant. Projects should contain an educational component. Funding is cost-shared between the community and Sport Manitoba. Communities are eligible to receive one grant annually.

Who can I support with my gift?
• You can select any approved fundraising projects established by Sport Manitoba, partner organizations and their affiliates.
• View the list of approved projects.
• Projects or organizations not appearing on this list are not currently registered with the National Sport Trust Fund. Donations can only be accepted for approved projects.

• Submit a Fundraising Project Application Form to the NSTF – Manitoba Chapter a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the commencement of the project. The deadline is increased to a minimum of six weeks for projects that exceed $50,000.

Costumes are encouraged and rewarded! Prizes will be awarded for the best costume, most money raised by team, individual and by dare.
TOO SCARED?
Lend your support to someone who is willing to take the plunge or support the event in general. All proceeds will support Manitoba kids who cannot afford to play sport. Click on the DONATE button below, then click on the Make a Donation link on the right.
Professor Popsicle
Join University of Manitoba professor Gordon Giesbrecht, aka Professor Popsicle, onsite as he provides a cold water survival demonstration. The famous Professor has appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman and the Rick Mercer Report (see video below) while submerged in icy water to demonstrate the effects of hypothermia and human response in extreme circumstances.
Jump Policies
The individuals who participate in the Polar Bear Dare must be in generally good health and physically able to perform the task. All jumpers will be required to complete a waiver. All jumpers must fundraise a minimum of $100 in order to participate. Jumpers who raise a minimum of $100 will receive a free lunch and souvenir t-shirt.
