| ...00 in year two is available to a community sport partner working with a Provincial Sport Organization for the introduction of a new sport through establishment of a team, club or league in the community. Funding is cost-shared between the community and Sport Manitoba. Communities are eligible to receive one grant per sport annually.

Provincial Sport Organization (PSO) - Club Development Grant
Funding of up to $300 to provide financial assistance to a Provincial Sport Organization which is working with a community sport organization to develop a "club development plan", based on their sport's Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD)/Canadian Sport for Life (CS4L) Model.

Travel Assistance
Individual sport athletes trying out for a Provincial Team or participating in a Provincial Sport Organization sanctioned Provincial Championship, which leads to an Inter-Provincial Championship, are eligible to receive assistance of up to $100. (NOTE: Athletes trying out for the Provincial Team must be formally invited to the try-out by their Provincial Sport Organization.)
Teams participating in a sanctioned Provincial Championship are eligible to receive assistance of up to $300. (NOTE: There must be an opportunity for the winners of the provincial championship to advance to a Western Canadian or National Championship event.)
Individual sport athletes and teams from remote communities traveling to events in the Norman Region are eligible to receive up to $100 for individuals and $300 for teams.
Individual athletes and teams are eligible to receive one grant per sport annually.
Assistance of up $300 is available to coaches attending recognized National Coaches Certification Clinics (Theory or Technical), to coaches participating in Coaching Manitoba or PSO ... |
