In recognition of the Winnipeg Blue Bomber receiver’s contributions to the community, The Province of Manitoba, Sport Manitoba and the Manitoba Foundation for Sports will provide a scholarship of $1,000 to a graduating high school student entering a post-secondary institution and $2,000 to a student in their second or subsequent year in a post-secondary institution in the name of Stegall, who is the Canadian Football League’s all-time leader for touchdowns. Other scholarship amounts will be dependent on annual funds available for distribution. Coaching Manitoba annually presents bursaries to four students who have demonstrated a commitment to coaching in Manitoba. Grants
...t Funding of up to $1,000 in year one and up to $500 in year two is available to a community sport partner working with a Provincial Sport Organization for the introduction of a new sport through establishment of a team, club or league in the community.  Funding is cost-shared between the community and Sport Manitoba.  Communities are eligible to receive one grant per sport annually. Introduction of a New Sport Grant Application Form Provincial Sport Organization (PSO) - Club Development Grant Funding of up to $300 to provide financial assistance to a Provincial Sport Organization which is working with a community sport organization to develop a "club development plan", based on their sport's Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD)/Canadian Sport for Life (CS4L) Model. PSO - Club Development Grant Application Form Travel Assistance Individual sport athletes trying out for a Provincial Team or participating in a Provincial Sport Organization sanctioned Provincial Championship, which leads to an Inter-Provincial Championship, are eligible to receive assistance of up to $100. (NOTE: Athletes trying out for the Provincial Team must be formally invited to the try-out by their Provincial Sport Organization.)
