KidSport is pleased to announce that it is the charity of choice for the 2009 Canadian Tour Players Cup, one of three major championships for the Canadian Professional Golf Tour.

This event will take place July 16th to19th at Pine Ridge Golf Club and will take the place of the annual Free Press Manitoba Classic. Again this year the purse has been set at $200,000, making it one of the richest events of the tour's season. In addition to this substantial purse, the winner of the Players Cup will also earn a spot directly into the RBC Canadian Open to be held the following week at Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, Ont.

The Annual Investors Group Home on the Range clinic for KidSport will take place on Monday, July 13th at Pine Ridge in conjunction with the tournament.
