Sport Manitoba Announces Sport Award Finalists - Manitoba’s Best to Share National Stage
Sport Manitoba today announced the finalists for its Annual Sport Awards recognizing achievement and excellence in amateur sport in 2007.
The nominees will be honoured and the winners announced in conjunction with the 35th Annual Canadian Sport Awards which are being held in Winnipeg for the second consecutive year. This year’s awards will take place on Wednesday, March 19 at 7:00 p.m. at the Garrick Theatre.
Members of Manitoba’s sport media will select the winners. This year’s nominees include:

Once again in conjunction with the Sport Manitoba and Canadian Sport Awards, the Manitoba Aboriginal Sport and Recreation Council will announce its recipients for the Tom Longboat Awards as Manitoba’s Aboriginal Athletes of the Year.
