As part of its funding agreement Sport Manitoba is required to submit an annual business plan to the Province of Manitoba. Sport Manitoba's Business Plan highlights the new initiatives to be undertaken in the next year.
Manitoba Action Plan for Sport
The Manitoba Action Plan for Sport (MAPS) is Sport Manitoba's long-range strategic plan. MAPS identifies the highest priority areas that amateur sport in Manitoba faces and drives the development of new initiatives within Sport Manitoba's annual business plan.
MAPS initiatives are consistent with Federal-Provincial/Territorial Priorities for Collaborartive Action 2007-2012 aimed at advancing the goals of Canadian Sport Policy.
