The Power Smart Manitoba Games are the province's largest ongoing multi-sport program bringing together participants from across the province. The Games are held every two years and alternate between summer and winter sports events. Each set of Games involve upwards of 7,500 athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers.

Regional Athlete Testing Combines

Regional Testing Combines open to rural Manitoba athletes of ANY level and sport. Athletes: baseline testing done for speed, agility, strength & power. Coaches: testing done for your entire team efficiently, at low cost and results reviewed by sport performance experts. Parents: learn about the sport development pathway and ask questions about strength and conditioning.

Sport Manitoba and Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries are pleased to announce the recipients of “Thanks Coach!” awards at the 2016 Power Smart Manitoba Summer Games in Steinbach. These awards recognize the often unheralded but very important role coaches play.

Regional Athlete Testing Combines

Sport Manitoba is hosting Regional Testing Combines open to athletes of ANY level and sport. The first Combine will take place in Winkler on September 9, 2016. The second Combine will take place in Brandon on September 10, 2016.

Closing Ceremonies, Final Medal Standings and Trophy Winners

3,000 athletes, coaches and volunteers gathered together from all from different parts of the province, from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences – and for one week we all had the common goal, to experience True Sport and live the magic of the Games!
