The Power Smart Manitoba Games are the province's largest ongoing multi-sport program bringing together participants from across the province. The Games are held every two years and alternate between summer and winter sports events. Each set of Games involve upwards of 7,500 athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers.
The 2018 Power Smart Manitoba Winter Games will be held in the Town of Virden from February 25 – March 3, 2018, involving up to 1,800 participants and 1,000 volunteers. Sporting events include archery, badminton, cross country ski, curling, figure skating, gymnastics, hockey, ringette, speed skating, wrestling and table tennis.

Sport Manitoba and Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries are pleased to announce the recipients of “Thanks Coach!” awards at the 2016 Power Smart Manitoba Summer Games in Steinbach. These awards recognize the often unheralded but very important role coaches play.
Sport Manitoba is hosting Regional Testing Combines open to athletes of ANY level and sport. The first Combine will take place in Winkler on September 9, 2016. The second Combine will take place in Brandon on September 10, 2016.
