Closing Ceremonies, Final Medal Standings and Trophy Winners

Power Smart Manitoba Games
The End of an Incredible Week!

3,000 athletes, coaches and volunteers gathered together from all from different parts of the province, from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences – and for one week we all had the common goal, to experience True Sport and live the magic of the Games!

Not unlike the Olympics, we witnessed exceptional determination by athletes who refused to give up. We have shared in the joy of victory and the disappointment in defeat.

Tyler Mislawchuk competed in triathlon at his first multi-sport competition at the 2008 Power Smart Manitoba Summer Games in Carman. He did not medal. On August 18th Tyler will don his Team Canada uniform and leave it all out on the course at the 2016 Olympics in Rio! Talk about Dream It. Live It! Who of you will be our next Olympian? We encourage you all to chase your own dreams!

If you have developed a love for multi-sport competition, you are in luck! Manitoba will host the country next summer for the 2017 Canada Summer Games. The 2017 Canada Games need 6,000 volunteers! Their volunteer drive starts September 6. You have the experience, passion and dedication we are looking for. Please sign up!
