Eastman and Westman are set for a gold medal clash in boys volleyball Saturday.
Eastman secured their berth Friday with a dominant 25-21, 25-14 win over Winnipeg Blue in front of a boisterous crowd. It was a change of fortunes for the host team, which was eclipsed by Westman earlier in the day in a match between the squads that did not determine seeding, by sets of 25-20, 25-18.
Westman’s path to the gold medal game was finalized when they made quick work of Central in the semis, 25-15, 25-16.
The Eastman vs. Westman rematch goes Saturday at 10:30 a.m. for gold. Central and Winnipeg Blue will meet beforehand at 9 a.m. for bronze.
