RSS FEEDS

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". The city uses RSS feeds to publish frequently updated works, such as recent news.

Subscribing to RSS feeds make it easy for you to receive Sport Manitoba's latest News updates without having to check the Sport Manitoba website.

An RSS feed includes a title and full or summarized text of recent updates. You can read your RSS feeds using software called an "RSS reader" or "feed reader".

Feed readers are available for your internet browser, as desktop programs or on the web. Check the Related Links on the side for an assortment of popular Feed Readers.

When you see this image next to a News item, you can subscribe to that feed to automatically receive updated items as they're published, without ever visiting the site. Don’t worry, you can unsubscribe at any time.
