We use a Glute-Ham bench with our athletes, and although not always present at training facilities, they are a great addition to any training space. The Glute-Ham bench is often adjustable, which provides comfortable and stable support that allows athletes to complete movements and hold specific positions. These exercises target the hamstrings, glutes, lower back and abdominals.

Here are eight challenging exercises that you can do at the glute-ham bench station!

GHR Hollow Hold Halo

GHR Side Plank Hold with Plate Press

GHR MB Reverse Hyperextension

GHR Back Extension

GHR Glute-Ham Raise

GHR Hollow Hold with Single Arm Plate Reach Over Shoulder

GHR Single Leg Hamstring Iso Hold

GHR Hollow Hold with Plate Press Overhead
