This session will be tailored towards athletes who will be competing at the 2019 Canada Winter Games, and highlight a variety of games-related scenarios that could impact nutrition at games time. The speaker will provide strategies to help overcome barriers such as multiple competition bouts in one day, transportation delays, late night/early morning competition times, food allergies/intolerances, and provided meals that interfere with competition time. The athletes' village dining hall menu and boxed lunch meals will be reviewed and suggestions will be provided to ensure meals, snacks, and fluids are providing sufficient fuel for a gold medal performance!
