The Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame will induct seven individuals and one team who have earned their place in Manitoba’s sport history. This year's slate of inductees is exceptional! This year’s individual recipients in the Athlete category include: a decorated blind Paralympic swimmer, the all-time WHA leader in goalie games played, wins and playoff wins, a seven-time national speed skating champion, a two-time World curling champion, and an international basketball phenom.
The Builder category is made up of a former president of the Canadian Handball Association and a boxing official who’s a judge, jury member, and technical delegate and official for the International Boxing Association.
The only Manitoba ladies golf team to win the Canadian Ladies Amateur Team title rounds out this year’s slate of inductees.
