Accounting Specialist

Full-Time Position (35 hours per week)

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Finance, the Accounting Specialist will perform full cycle accounting for assigned sport partner organizations, including audit preparation assistance. In addition, work closely with other staff to review and evaluate compliance with all financial accountability requirements.

 

Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in business administration, finance, or accounting.
  • At least two years of accounting, finance, or related experience.
  • Related work/volunteer experience and knowledge in amateur sport delivery is an asset.
  • Demonstrated financial, analytical, and budgetary skills.
  • Ability to interpret financial and grant reporting data.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Sage or other accounting software programs.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
