Clinic Director/Senior Practitioner

Located within the Sport Manitoba facility at 145 Pacific Avenue in downtown Winnipeg is the Sport Manitoba Clinic. The Clinic is a place for all Manitobans, both athletes and non-athletes alike, to receive focused care from experienced professionals in a range of clinical disciplines, including physician, physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiro, massage therapy and Xray. We pride ourselves in serving our community with top-notch care from our incredible team.


Working closely with the executive team at Sport Manitoba, the Clinic Director will lead clinic operations including mentoring our multidisciplinary team of clinicians and the administrative staff to build and grow new and existing services. The Clinic Director will also have responsibilities around business development and delivering services that generate revenue specific to their own specialized training and experience.


The individual would be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Clinic including:

  • Leading business development initiatives including networking, relationship management and identification of new opportunities
  • Recruitment, orientation, training and supervision of clinical staff
  • Scheduling of all clinical staff
  • Management, further development, and financial operation of the Clinic
  • Assessment and treatment of patients
  • Collaboration on athlete care in coordination with Sport Manitoba Performance and the broader sport community


Applicants should be eligible for licensure by their respective Association in Manitoba. Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years clinical experience in the area of orthopedics and therapy. Administrative/managerial experience is an asset. Bilingual English/French is also an asset.
