At Sport Manitoba we fund and plan sports programs to promote the development of vibrant citizens, athletes and communities in Manitoba.


Sport Manitoba Performance is building a network of Sport Science Providers across the province leading up to the 2021 Canada Summer Games to assist in servicing Team Manitoba athletes.

As athletes reach an elite level, the athlete’s physical preparation can often differentiate the top competitors and plays an important role in enhancing or blocking successful athletic performance.  Sport Manitoba’s strength & conditioning coaches will be responsible for delivering training sessions, testing, and athlete monitoring services.

We are seeking individuals that are able to deliver services in the following topics;


  • Bachelor of Kinesiology, related Exercise Science Degree, or less than 40 credit hours remaining in degree.
  • CSEP-CEP, CSCS, CSEP-CPT designation or equivalent is considered an asset.
  • Experience as a high-performance athlete or coach is considered an asset.
  • Bilingual (Written/Spoken French) considered an asset.


  • $16 – $25 /hour (Winnipeg)
  • To be negotiated (Outside Winnipeg)
