Manitoba Games Laser Tag

Laser Tag and Escape Rooms For The Win at Athlete Villages

By: Keyanna B. Ouellette

Friday night Lock’n’Load Paintball created an escape the room in the male village. Team South’s wrestlers, Noah Godlewski and Austin Neufeld were excited to try it out!

The gym went silent when a group of RCMP officers walked in. But they were there to join in the fun! Earlier that night, the RCMP officers played laser tag with the teams at the female village.

“I thought it was another kid wanting to play, then I turned around and it was the RCMP! It was cool,” exclaimed Godlewski.

They took on the challenge together and the group solved to room in 12 minutes, the second fasted time of the night.

Over at the female village, all the teams watched the RCMP officers play laser tag against each other. The room was loud and full of energy.

“Never seen so many people involved in a small game of laser tag,” said Melanie Ouellette, co-owner of Lock’N’ Load Paintball, proudly.

It was a great night at both of the villages. The athletes were amazed at how involved our police department is with our community.

“I was expecting movies and watching other events all week, this was the best experience,” said Neufeld.
