Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Celebrate Manitoba’s rich sport heritage at the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame’s Annual Induction Ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022.

The Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame will induct the Class of 2022. This year’s slate of inductees — five individuals and one team — are exceptional and have earned their place in Manitoba’s sport history. Don’t miss this premiere event!

This year’s individual inductees include a player agent who changed the landscape of pro hockey in North America, a pioneer force in paralympic sport, a two-time world ringette silver medallist and our first inductee from that sport, a two-time national university men’s basketball player of the year and an Olympic volleyball setter. Add in a Grey Cup championship team and you have quite the slate in 2022!

Enjoy the cocktails (cash bar) and small bites before the show and bid on fabulous items within our fundraising auction including autographed prizes from our newest inductees, other Honoured Members and generous corporate supporters. Hosted by former TSN Radio 1290 broadcaster Matt Leibl, the show itself features video testimonials from teammates, coaches and opponents of the inductees and in-person and virtual acceptance speeches.
