Hello! My name is Antonio Mangilit and I’m Sport Manitoba’s new massage therapist.

My first day in the Sport Medicine Clinic is August 1, and I can’t wait to get started. It’s a great opportunity to work in an environment where I can learn and share some of my knowledge.

I also had the chance to tour the building recently and it really is a beautiful facility with friendly staff and ample activity space.Massage

I specialize in sports massages and deep tissue massages. I often treat sports injuries and work-related injuries.

One of my favourite aspects of my job is establishing relationships with my clients. First off, I always set goals for my clients before we begin the treatment, and then I strive to attain those goals, whether it is increasing your range of motion, relieving tight muscles, or decreasing pain.

I like to follow up with my clients a couple days after the massage to see how their body is feeling.

Massage can be beneficial for everybody. You don’t need to have stiff or sore muscles to reap the benefits. Massages are also a great stress reliever for people who deal with high amounts of stress at work, school, or in their home life.

They’re also great for people who have trouble sleeping.

If you’ve never had a massage, I encourage you to try it and I think you’ll notice the benefits.

Although I don’t start until August 1, I’m already taking appointments! I’m looking forward to meeting you.
