This is an in-person professional development course that will be held at 145 Pacific Avenue, Winnipeg, MB.
Basic Taping 1 Workshop
Taping 1 is an excellent course for a coach, team manager, or parent. This course will focus on general taping skills and considerations, such as when to tape and when not to tape. The course includes a practical component focusing on basic taping skills and techniques for the ankle, wrist, fingers, and thumb. We will also discuss the pros and cons of kinesio tape vs traditional athletic tape.
Participants will practice these tape jobs on each other. Participants should wear clothes that can expose their wrists, elbows, ankles, and knees (i.e. loose pants they can roll to or above the knee).
