The City of Swift Current will host the Western Canada Summer Games from August 9-18, 2019! Featuring 16 sports, over 20 venues, and a range of cultural performances and programs, the Games will be the largest event to ever take place in the region. Over 1,700 athletes, coaches, officials and mission staff from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Nunavut will participate in the 10 days of competition. These athletes, aged 13 – 20 years old, are our country’s next generation of national, international, Olympic, and Paralympic champions.

For two years 15-year-olds Andi Almonte and Justine Kolody have competed against each other on different volleyball teams. But this summer, Andi and Justine are teammates who are looking forward to competing together at the 2019 Western Canada Summer Games in Swift Current, Saskatchewan during week two, from August 14-18.
