Holly graduated from the University of Alberta in 2010 with her Masters in Science – Physical Therapy. Since then she has worked in both Calgary and Edmonton in a private practice/sport medicine environment. She is certified in acupuncture and is presently completing her Level 3 for Manual therapy. In addition, she is certified in Gokavi Transverse Technique (Intramuscular needling).
Holly’s treatment approach is very holistic and combines exercise principles from her Kinesiology degree, with strong manual therapy skills. She believes it is very important not only to treat the acute injury, but to ensure that a treatment plan is put into place to avoid re-injury in the future.
Holly has worked with a number of high level athletes, including the NLL Edmonton Rush Lacrosse Team and Junior National Diving Team. She loves to treat all athletes, especially adolescents and the weekend warrior.
Outside of work, Holly is an all around athlete and enjoys competing in basketball, ball hockey and especially golf. She is an avid runner and being from Calgary, loves country music and two-stepping.
