Updated NCCP Modules Announcement
In partnership with the Public Health Agency of Canada,...
Our mission is to lead and support sport for life through access, participation, and excellence in sport by all Manitobans. As a not-for-profit organization, we fund over 100 sport partners and their programs across the province.
We also have our own programs, like Team Manitoba, the Manitoba Games powered by Manitoba Hydro, Sport Manitoba Coaching, and Fit Kids Healthy Kids. And we own and operate our facility in downtown Winnipeg, where our Performance Centre, Fitness Centre, Medical Clinic, and hardwood courts live. When someone chooses our physiotherapist, purchases a gym membership, trains with us, or rents courts, that revenue is reinvested back into the amateur sport system to create more opportunities for Manitobans to participate in sport.
Our organization is powered by over 70 staff who champion Manitobans’ journeys through sport – developing physical literacy skills, creating scholarships, coordinating coach education sessions, training high-performance athletes, supporting our sport partners, and designing creative campaigns that advocate for the benefits of participating in sport – is just a glimpse of what our passionate team is capable of. Read more about who we are and what we do, here.
