Dr. Klayton
Kaleta

Sport Medicine Physician

Dr. Kaleta is a lifelong learner. He has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of British Columbia. Instead of working following graduation, he traveled the world for seven years and became inspired to help communities who didn’t have access to clean water. He enrolled in the Biosystems Engineering program at the University of Manitoba and upon graduation, worked as a professional engineer designing and building water and sewer treatment plants in rural and northern Manitoba. After realizing he was one of Manitoba’s experts on septic tank inspections, Dr. Kaleta questioned the direction of his life and decided a career change was needed. He obtained a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Manitoba in 2020 and completed his family medicine training in 2022. His interests include occupational and sports medicine, where he is pursuing additional training. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling and playing soccer with his kids.
