Recognizing Manitoba’s rich sports history since 1979

The Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame, located inside Sport Manitoba at 145 Pacific Avenue, is filled with over 100 years of sport history written by the men and women, athletes, and coaches who shaped athletics in our province. With displays dedicated to everything from top-tier NHL talent, to exhibits that dive deep into the perseverance of one particular athlete or team, the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame is a must-see provincial attraction.

Team Manitoba

Top-tier talent across 50 athletic disciplines

Team Manitoba is a collection of the province’s best young athletes, coaches, managers, and mission staff who compete for Manitoba at the Canada Games and Western Canada Games. Represented by the symbol of the strong and resourceful bison, Team Manitoba aims to create a supportive and nurturing environment so all participants can achieve their full athletic potential.

Manitoba Games
A biennial display of fierce competition and vibrant communities

The Manitoba Games powered by Manitoba Hydro is the province's largest ongoing multi-sport program, bringing together participants from across the province. The Games are held every two years and alternate between summer and winter sporting events. Each set of Games involves upwards of 2,700 athletes, coaches, officials, and volunteers.

Fit Kids Healthy Kids
Promoting physical literacy through active and balanced lifestyles

Fit Kids Healthy Kids, founded as a partnership between Doctors Manitoba and Sport Manitoba, delivers programming for children and their adult leaders that teaches the fundamentals of collaborative play and movement. Operating under the belief that physical recreation is an integral part of childrens’ mental and physical development, Fit Kids Healthy Kids promotes games and activities that are non-competitive and inclusive to all shapes and sizes.
