Macaila is a bilingual University of Manitoba student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with a minor in French. 

Her passion for fitness developed as a provincial athlete in basketball. Now as a retired player, she approaches fitness with imperfect consistency rather than an all-or-nothing mindset. Her ambition is to incorporate exercise and optimal wellness into the demands of daily life by keeping workouts simple, challenging, and efficient.
